It seems like my blog entry about the Gremlins has caused some concern on a Traffic Exchange called Traffic Era. One of their team leaders wrote to me, asking if I was referring to their team and telling me he would report the blog because he is taking it personally.
This was my response
Hi
Why would I be referring to your team? I have not even said which Traffic Exchange I am referring to, it is a fairy tale.
Once upon a time I surfed in a team that was highly successful because we had a computer wizard who put our team URLs in his rotator and we had a huge referral pv, so we ruled the exchange. However, that was against the rules of that exchange and a couple of our team members got suspended and we had to promise never to do this again, which we did.
On that traffic exchange there is a rule against advertising someone else's referral url.
If your team are doing that, then of course the fairy tale could apply to your team, if they are not doing it then you have nothing to worry about. So I don't understand why you think I am referring to your team, surely you are not putting your referral URLs into a rotator?
Anyway, thanks for reading the blog
Louise
Truly strange when fiction becomes more real than fact. However, as they say in England, if the cap fits, wear it

A gremlin is an English folkloric creature, commonly depicted as mischievous and mechanically oriented, with a specific interest in aircraft. :)
ReplyDeletehehehe, thanks Ben, did not know that.
ReplyDeleteIf this is true, then why are there NO mention of 'rotators' in your story? You even quote me as saying:
ReplyDelete'My secret to getting good PV is by running a 64-bit system, and running 14 autosurfs 24/7 in Internet Explorer x64 - I max out my ref PV within 6 hours every day'
Those are MY words, almost verbatim - Rotators are never mentioned - You are implying that what I do is 'cheating', which I take offense to!
Jay, no problem with you maxing out at all in 6 hours. Good for you. It would only be IF you used that technology that the rest of your team would be cheating, hypothetically of course.
ReplyDeletewhat I mean is IF you use that technology to allow your team to advertise their URLs in say a team rotator then your team would be in breach of Tera rules, IF I were referring to Tera of course
ReplyDeleteNone of us use rotators - Just autosurfs, and I KNOW those are legal...
ReplyDeleteNothing to worry about then is there, so why are we having this exchange of comments? Its only a fairytale Jay, and you have done nothing wrong, so rest a bit
ReplyDeleteHi, My name is Rich and I am known as Just A Regular Guy across the internet. I am on this team and I can ensure everyone that we do not cheat, Jay has never even maxed out on a daily basis. If this slander continues and I do not care that you say fairly tale and it disrupts my reputation in the least I will sue you and I will win. In addition if I do not see an apology directed to me and my team I will blast you across every blog I am in explaining how you use derogatory statements that can be construed as slander.
ReplyDeleteI do not know you from adam, and do not wish to be lumped into these generalized and implications that everyone is cheating.
In addition please do not think everyone is stupid when you claim it has nothing to do with our team as we all know that Jay is proud of his computer as that is his baby. His only mistake was to brag about it.
In addition I am going to write admin a very polite rebuttal for what they did to Jay as then they are actually stating we are cheating.
I have been a Registered Nurse with My MBA for over 15 years and have been VP at several hospitals so dealt with attorneys all the time regarding issues like this.
In addition now I have been an online Marketer now for over 4 years, with the last one doing it full time from home as able to earn enough to be able to spend time with my family.
Before you respond to this, please contact your lawyer before you regret what you will be starting.
Regards,
Richard Tunison AKA Just A Regular Guy
Please note that Rich is not the only one with a blog and mine are very powerful. I know how to use them to very good effect.
ReplyDeletethere is also one more thing to add. Jay does not max out most days so you are lying through your teeth when you make these claims. Most on the team do not max out so you are dead wrong.
ReplyDeleteYou are not safe from being sued by living in Australia.
Grow up, the bloody lot of you.
